Sương sits right on An Bang Beach, which means you’re eating fresh seafood with actual sand and sea in front of you. The fish and shellfish come in genuinely good condition here – this is not the place where mystery meat arrives on a skewer. Staff member Phuong has apparently single-handedly saved a few meals with sharp dish recommendations, so take her suggestions seriously.

The beach view and comfortable setup keep regulars coming back multiple times per stay, which is usually a reliable signal. That said, pricing runs closer to what you’d pay at home than what you’d expect in Vietnam (one reviewer compared it to New Zealand rates, which is not a compliment in this context).

Reviews are split enough to suggest consistency can be a problem – some people rate the food among the best they had in Vietnam, others among the worst. Ordering what the staff recommend rather than going rogue probably matters more here than at most places.
