A casual sports bar that’s gone through a few name changes (you might see it listed as Kangaroo Sports Bar now), but the formula stays the same: pool tables, live acoustic music every night, and drinks that people consistently describe as strong. The happy hour on cocktails is apparently a 24-hour situation, which either says something about the pricing strategy or the definition of ‘happy hour’ in Hoi An.
This is a reliably easy night out. You come for one drink, someone racks the pool balls, a musician sets up in the corner, and suddenly it’s late. The staff are fast and friendly, which matters more than it sounds when the bar fills up.
They also do breakfast, which is solid if unremarkable. Good portions, tasty food – just know the coffee leans strong.
