The Lighthouse is the wood-fired pizza place at An Bang that people come back to twice in the same trip. The dough is made properly – you can watch them do it – and the results hold up against anything you’d find in a decent Italian city (a claim that means something in Vietnam).
Beyond pizza, the pasta and salads land well too, which is rarer than it should be at beach restaurants. Two draft beers on tap, served cold, and a relaxed soundtrack that doesn’t make you feel like you’re eating inside a speaker.
It works for solo travelers, couples, or anyone who’s had one too many bowls of cao lau and needs a Western food reset. Delivery is available if you’d rather eat on your guesthouse porch.
