Tony the Tailor is run by Lan and her team of women who actually listen to what you want – and more importantly, tell you when what you want won’t work for your body type. That kind of honest consultation is rarer than it sounds on Hoi An’s tailor-packed streets.
They handle the full range: suits, shirts, trousers, dresses, linen casuals. The turnaround is fast (multiple pieces in under two days is normal here), and they’ll do several rounds of fittings without making you feel like you’re being difficult. Prices are fair from the start, so you won’t need to haggle yourself into a headache.
The shop has a calmer atmosphere than a lot of places closer to the Ancient Town center. Come with reference photos if you have something specific in mind – the more detail you bring, the better the result.
