Wafaifo Resort Hoi An
Description
A newer resort that genuinely delivers on the basics: large rooms, a long lap-friendly pool, and staff who seem to actually enjoy their jobs. The hotel manager (Mr. Nock, per one relieved guest) and front desk team members like Anna and Nhi get mentioned by name repeatedly, which tells you something about how the place is run.
The location puts you close enough to the Old Town to walk in without being in the middle of the noise. Suites come with private breakfast dining from a menu, worth asking about if you’re celebrating something (honeymoon upgrades have happened more than once here).
The on-site restaurant is reasonably priced with a solid menu, and the gym is modern enough to actually use. This is a good pick if you want resort comfort without feeling like you’ve left Hoi An entirely.
Highlights
- Rooms are large, new, and kept very clean
- Pool is long enough that it doesn't feel crowded even on busy days
- Location works well as a base for the Old Town without the noise
- Only one night stays are mentioned a few times, suggesting some guests don't plan to return but end up pleasantly surprised (not exactly a ringing endorsement for repeat bookings)
