Distortion Pub
Description
Distortion Pub is the antidote to the overpriced tourist bar scene across the bridge – craft beer on tap, a rotating selection of IPAs, and a sound system that actually plays good rock (deep cuts included). The Canadian owner and his bartender clearly know their stuff, both in the glass and on the playlist.
The vibe is low-key dive bar: board games on the table, like-minded people at the bar, nobody trying to upsell you on a cocktail bucket. If you’ve been suffering through generic Saigon lagers at inflated prices, this place will feel like a minor miracle.
Opens at 6pm and closed Tuesdays. That last part matters more than you’d think.

Cons
