URBAN BAR
Description
A classic-style bar tucked into a side street of the Old Town where impromptu live music happens regularly – a guitarist who sometimes gets a pianist to join, and suddenly the whole place is dancing. The vibe is warm without being rowdy, which in Hoi An’s tourist center is hard to find.
The coconut coffee gets mentioned by multiple people who came for a beer and left obsessed with it instead. Prices sit a notch above the surrounding area (location tax, basically), but nobody seems to complain too hard.
Stick to the Vietnamese food – the rose dumplings and banh xeo are solid, especially during busy evenings when the kitchen is in its groove. The burger and carbonara exist on the menu, but they probably shouldn’t.
