Description
A lantern workshop that’s been at this spot long enough for customers to return eight years later and find it exactly where they left it. They make the lanterns here – hand-painted silk, round styles in multiple sizes – and you can watch them do it. That’s the whole point of coming instead of buying from a stall in the old town.
Prices are noticeably cheaper than the Ancient Town shops. A medium lantern runs around 80,000 VND, large around 170,000 VND. They also do bulk custom orders for interior decoration lanterns, which several buyers have been happy with.
They’ve added ao dai rental and a small coffee service recently (the shop has clearly been busy). Skip the chili sauce they sell as a souvenir – the jar seals are weak and it leaks in luggage.
