Ha Linh Lantern Manufacturing Unit

A working lantern factory where you can watch the things get made and buy direct, or sit down and assemble your own. The selection is genuinely large – different sizes, fabrics, and colors – and the make-your-own session runs about an hour at around 12-15 EUR per person.

The experience here is inconsistent in a way that matters. Some visitors get patient, helpful staff who walk them through the whole process. Others get rushed out the door or turned away entirely, depending on who’s working and how busy the floor is.

If you hit it on a good day with a cooperative staff member, it’s a solid activity. If you walk in and the reception is cold within the first 30 seconds, that’s your signal to leave and try one of the other lantern workshops nearby instead.
