The Lantern Lady
Description
A small family-run workshop where you actually make a lantern yourself, not watch someone make it for you. The team walks you through each step and corrects your technique rather than just taking over when you mess up (which you will, at least once).
The scale is the whole point here. This is not one of the conveyor-belt operations running fifty tourists through at a time. You pick your fabric, shape, and size, and the finished thing is genuinely yours to carry home.
Plan for around two hours. It gets busy and people do wait for a spot, so arriving early in the day is the smarter move.
