Trang trại hữu cơ An Farm Hoi An
Description
An Farm sits a short drive outside the Old Town noise, and the difference in atmosphere is immediate. Owner Hang – a food engineer, nutritionist, and herbalist – runs cooking classes and herbal tea workshops from her organic garden, and her depth of knowledge is the whole point of coming here. This is not a passive tour where someone hands you a sample and moves on.
The cooking classes cover hot pot, spring rolls, sauces, and detox drinks, all using herbs picked straight from the garden during the class itself. The herbal tea workshop is slower and more educational – good if you actually want to understand what you’re drinking and why (and less good if you just want a nice photo for the afternoon).
The farm is compact. One Vietnamese reviewer called it sparse and not what they imagined, which is fair if you arrive expecting lush rows of dramatic greenery. What it lacks in visual scale it makes up for in the specificity of what Hang grows and knows about each plant.
Highlights
- Guests across multiple reviews feel welcomed and treated as individuals rather than a group to move through
- Both the cooking class and herbal tea workshop are hands-on, not observational
- Products and herbs are available to buy at the end, which several visitors did
- Location outside Old Town requires a short drive, which most find easy but worth factoring into your day
