U Cafe sits on the riverside away from the old town crowds, and that distance is exactly the point. No music, river breeze, a fish pond upstairs, and traditional phin filter coffee served the slow way. (A cafe that takes its time making coffee and expects you to take your time drinking it.)
The space has a hanging garden design with river views from the upper floor. Regulars have been coming back for over a decade and say nothing much has changed – which here is a compliment.
Be aware that opening hours on Google are not reliable. Multiple people have shown up to find it closed, so check before making a trip out.
