An Bang Beach Hideaway is essentially Diem’s place, and that’s the whole point. She runs it with the kind of attentiveness that makes you feel like a houseguest rather than a booking number – organising massages in your bungalow, pointing you to the right beach beds, knowing which tailor won’t waste your time.
The bungalows sit about 30 metres from the beach in An Bang village, which is the quieter, more local alternative to An Hoi peninsula. You can hear the sea from your room. Hoi An old town is a short Grab ride away (budget 60-80k VND each way), so you get the calm without being stranded.
Diem has even hosted weddings here, which tells you something about the level of personal involvement on offer. Rooms are clean, spacious, and come with the basics covered – AC, fridge, mosquito coils. Pack a plug-in repellent too, and watch your food for ants (the bungalow-in-a-garden life has its trade-offs).
