Bliss Hoi An Beach Resort & Wellness
Description
Bliss sits on An Bang Beach, which puts it a solid 15-20 minutes from the Old Town by shuttle. That distance is the whole point – the resort is quiet, the beach is uncrowded, and the pool stays that way too (a rare thing on this stretch of coast).
Rooms are spacious and clean, staff get consistently good marks for friendliness, and the food and cocktails are solid enough that you won’t feel trapped. The wellness side – massages, pool, beach – is the core offer here, and it delivers on that.
The shuttle bus runs regularly and handles the town gap well enough, but book your seat at least two hours ahead or you’ll be negotiating with a taxi driver. One reviewer flagged that the Deluxe Ocean King room doesn’t actually face the ocean, so push the front desk on exactly what view you’re getting before you accept a room.
Highlights
- Pool and beach stay uncrowded, which is the main reason to stay here over something closer to town
- Rooms are large, clean, and comfortable
- Shuttle bus to the Old Town works well if you plan ahead
- At least one reviewer notes that room photos on booking sites don't match reality, particularly ocean-view categories
