Brother Villa Hoi An
Description
Brother Villa sits just outside the old town chaos, which means you actually sleep at night but still walk to the Ancient Town in under ten minutes. The staff – particularly a receptionist named Nhi – are the real selling point here. They hand out restaurant tips without the usual upsell pressure, and the suggestions are good (My Quang Ong Hai came up more than once).
Rooms are clean, modern, and big enough for families with luggage mountains. Bikes are available to borrow, there’s a lift, laundry runs 30,000 VND per kilo, and a free daily beer appears to be a thing. Breakfast is included but you order it the evening before – limited choices, but the food itself is decent.
The indoor pool looks better in the listing photos than it does in person (it’s unheated, so brace yourself). A few bathrooms have shown mould. This is solidly mid-range value, not a luxury villa experience – price your expectations accordingly.
