Square Villa Hoi An
Description
Square Villa sits about a 2-minute walk from the Old Town entrance, which is close enough to stumble back after a few too many Bà Ba Bà beers but far enough that the lantern-festival noise won’t keep you up. The owner runs a tight ship – she’s the kind of person who will personally call an embassy to sort your visa problem, which is either impressive dedication or a sign she takes guest problems very personally (both, probably).
Rooms come with the practical stuff that actually matters: fridge, kettle, balcony, and free bike use so you can cycle to the beach without negotiating a grab fare every morning. Breakfast is made-to-order, and you pre-select the night before – a small detail that means your food actually arrives hot and right.
The staff regularly go beyond checkout duties, letting guests use showers after checkout and helping book onward buses up the Vietnamese coast. Family rooms are spacious with proper-sized beds and a bathtub, which is rarer than it should be at this price point.
