Description

A riverfront cafe that earns its reputation simply by being calm, cheap, and correctly positioned on the Thu Bon. You walk maybe two minutes from the night market chaos and the noise just stops. That’s the whole pitch, and it works.

The seating situation is the main decision you’ll make here. There’s a wooden bar table right on the water and at least one hammock (first come, first served, obviously). Drinks run from coffee and smoothies to cold beer and soft drinks – nothing complicated, nothing expensive.

This is a place for sitting, not eating. A few reviews mention the food range is limited, so if you’re hungry, the staff won’t be offended if you head across to the neighboring BBQ spot afterward.

Highlights

Insider Tip
Go straight for the wooden bar table overlooking the river - if that's taken, the hammock is your fallback, and if that's gone too, maybe just come back tomorrow evening.
Pros
- quiet despite being close to the night market
- Riverfront seating with good views of the Thu Bon
- Friendly, welcoming staff
- Prices are low even by Hoi An standards
Cons
'- Food options are minimal - come for drinks, not a meal
- Small place, so prime seats (bar table, hammock) go fast
