Chợ Phiên Làng Chài Tân Thành
Description
A weekend market (Saturday and Sunday only) out in Tan Thanh fishing village, about 20 minutes from the Old Town. It leans hard into the fishing village atmosphere – fresh seafood, handmade goods, and around 100 stalls selling everything from secondhand items to locally made crafts.
The vibe is more local event than tourist trap, with art performances and community activities mixed in alongside the shopping. It’s been an official Hoi An city event, so expect some organization and a bit of fanfare.
Pricing is reasonable across most stalls, though a few vendors push their luck on seafood prices (bargain or walk two stalls down for the same thing cheaper).
