CIC Hoi An Boutique Villa
Description
CIC sits near the rice paddies on the quieter edge of town, which means you get actual peace and quiet instead of late-night lantern festival noise. The rooms are genuinely spacious – private balcony, bathtub, pool access – and the free bikes close the gap to the Old Town in about ten minutes (a ride that regulars describe as one of the better parts of the day).
This place has a clear sweet spot: longer-stay remote workers and slow travelers who want a home base rather than a hotel room. The connection to Hub Hoi An coworking space is the real draw, and staff – My, Trong, and Ti come up repeatedly by name – seem to take hospitality seriously enough that multiple guests extended their stays.
The rice paddy location does mean humidity is a real factor, especially during rainy season. At least one guest had serious mould problems after sustained rain, so if you’re visiting between October and December, ask specifically about the room’s ventilation before you commit.
Highlights
- Rooms are large with private balconies and bathtubs, good value for the space
- Free bikes make the location work, and the ride to the coworking hub is a genuine plus
- Quiet, green setting near rice paddies suits anyone who wants calm over convenience
- Location is outside the center, which requires the bike for most errands (not ideal if you'd rather walk everywhere)
