Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An
Description
The Nam Hai sits on Ha My Beach, about 10 minutes by taxi from the Ancient Town, and it operates at a level that makes other luxury resorts look like they’re still figuring things out. The villas are spacious, the private pool situation is real (not a token plunge pool), and the whole property is laid out across enough land that you’ll want to call reception for the electric cart rather than walk everywhere.
The butler service is where this place separates itself. Staff here anticipate what you need before you ask, and the word ‘no’ apparently doesn’t feature in their vocabulary (one reviewer tested this theory repeatedly and confirmed it). That’s not marketing copy – that’s guests consistently reporting the same thing across hundreds of stays.
The private beach adds genuine seclusion without the resort feeling sealed off from real Hoi An life. You’re close enough to town to eat pho for breakfast and still make it back for a pool afternoon.
