Grand Sunrise Palace Hội An
Description
A newer resort-style hotel sitting in a quieter pocket outside the old town center, Grand Sunrise Palace punches well above its category on staff quality. Multiple reviewers single out specific staff members by name (Kat, Luna, Ane – a good sign that people actually remember them), and the front desk team handles tour bookings, coffee classes, and general requests without the usual blank stare.
The breakfast spread is good – Vietnamese dishes alongside international options, live stations, and made-to-order coffee. Rooms are clean and modern, the spa has a sauna and cold jacuzzi, and there are two pools (one rooftop, one ground level). The low water pressure in the shower is a minor complaint that surfaces occasionally, but the soaking tub compensates.
The location is the main trade-off. You are not walking to Hoi An Ancient Town from here. The hotel runs a shuttle, and Grab is cheap enough that it rarely becomes a real problem – but set your expectations accordingly before you book.
