A craft brewery taproom sitting right on the riverbank, run by owners who will actually talk to you about something other than tour packages. The beer list leans toward IPAs and specials brewed on-site, and the riverside beer garden is calm – not the kind of place blasting chart hits at 6pm.
The food punches harder than you’d expect from a bar kitchen. The chicken wings have a buffalo sauce that will hurt you (in the good way), the chicken burger gets mentioned unprompted by almost everyone, and the Parmesan garlic fries are the kind of side dish you order a second round of. Portions are large enough that you probably won’t need a starter.
There’s a pool table inside for when the sun gets too much. The owners are the kind of people who’ve lived enough life to have opinions, which makes this a rare spot where conversation with the staff is actually worth having.
