Hoi An Four Seasons Villa
Description
A small guesthouse sitting on the edge of rice fields, about 10-15 minutes by scooter from the Old Town. The rice field views are the real draw here – guests who came for peace and quiet consistently leave happy, and the free bicycles are a practical bonus for reaching nearby cafes without flagging down a xe om every time.
The pool loses direct sun from around 2pm, which is worth knowing if afternoon swimming is part of your plan. Rooms are clean and the staff are warm – the kind of place where the owner is also the receptionist, which usually means things get sorted quickly (booking disputes aside, apparently).
One honest note on the name: this is not affiliated with the international Four Seasons brand in any way, and a few guests have arrived expecting something quite different. No elevator either, so if you’re traveling with oversized luggage, factor in the stair situation before you book.
