Hoi An Ivy Hotel
Description
The Ivy sits right on the edge of the old town, which means you can walk to the lantern streets and the market in under ten minutes without paying old-town prices or fighting through peak tourist foot traffic every time you leave. Rooms are larger than the Hoi An average and match the photos exactly (a low bar that more places fail than you’d think).
The staff – particularly Lisa and Ngoc at the front desk – are the main reason people come back. They hand out maps, arrange airport pickups, field WhatsApp questions at odd hours, and will point you toward decent food that isn’t on the tourist circuit. Free bicycles are available, which is the best way to move around here.
One honest caveat: at least some rooms get real street noise at night. Ask specifically for a quieter room when you book rather than hoping for the best.
