Hoi An Love.Ly Hostel
Description
Love.Ly runs a tight operation in a great spot – five minutes from the Old Town on foot, clean rooms, and no bunk beds (a bigger deal than it sounds after a few nights in Vietnamese hostels). The rooms are showing their age but the beds have decent privacy screens, which matters more at 11pm than thread count does.
The staff are the real reason people stay an extra night. They speak solid English, handle bookings and logistics without fuss, and organize a family-style dinner and game nights that actually get people talking to each other. Vietnamese language lessons are also on the agenda, which sounds cheesy but is genuinely useful when you’re ordering food.
This is not a party hostel. One shared bathroom between five guests is fine if you’re out all day, less fine if you’re not. The free breakfast is coffee, eggs, bread or fruit – fuel, not a feast. Come in knowing that and you’ll leave happy.
