Hoi An Village Villa
Description
A family-run villa sitting just outside the old town noise, with rice paddies nearby and a pool that actually gets used. Host Nga is the reason people come back – she sorts bikes, laundry, car transfers to Da Nang, restaurant picks, tailor recommendations, and somehow still finds time to bring fresh water to your room daily.
Rooms are spacious and genuinely clean (daily housekeeping, fresh towels, hot water). Each has its own balcony. The wifi and table setup works well enough that remote workers have spent full weeks here without complaint.
The location is a 15-20 minute walk or short bike ride to the Ancient Town – far enough to sleep properly, close enough that it’s not a hassle. Several good local restaurants are within walking distance, including what one reviewer insists is the best cao lau in the area (a claim worth investigating).
Highlights
- Rooms are large, very clean, and maintained daily with fresh towels and water
- The pool is a real asset, especially after a day of touring in the heat
- Quiet location away from the center, without being inconveniently far
- Not walkable to the Ancient Town without a bike or willingness to put in 15-20 minutes on foot
