Lucky Beach Restaurant
Description
Lucky Beach is a family-run seafood spot where the fish arrives daily from their own fishermen – which means what’s on the grill is actually fresh, not ice-bin fresh. The charcoal BBQ does most of the heavy lifting, and that house-made dipping sauce keeps coming up in reviews for a reason.
Grilled squid, prawns, oysters, and whole fish are the things to order here. The clay pot fish and crispy pancakes also have fans. Skip the menu anxiety and just ask what came in that day.
The owners are the kind of people who send you off with complimentary fruit at the end of the meal (unprompted, apparently). It’s a small place with a loyal crowd, which tells you more than most reviews will.
