Mr Bean Bar
Description
Mr Bean Bar is a classic backpacker-strip bar doing what backpacker-strip bars do: loud music, 2-for-1 deals, and enough energy to pull you in off the street. The atmosphere does its job, and if you’re after a cheap night out with strangers, the vibe is there.
The drinks are the problem. Multiple visitors have reported cocktails that taste wrong, and at least one person ended up in hospital. That’s not a quibble about mixology standards – that’s a real reason to be cautious.
If you must stop here, stick to sealed bottled drinks. The ‘free’ shots in happy hour have a habit of not being free, and the staff aren’t interested in swapping out a cocktail you hate after two sips.
