Tropical Home
Description
A craft beer bar tucked down an alley just off the main old town drag, which means it’s actually quiet enough to have a conversation. The fridge lets you browse and pick your own bottle, the taps are solid, and the staff (ask for Tan) know what they’re pouring. They also carry 7 Bridges, the Hoi An local brewery, which is reason enough to stop in on its own.
The cocktails are fresh-made and worth ordering, though quality can depend on who’s behind the bar that night. Prices run a little higher than the surrounding area, but you’re paying for a real selection rather than Tiger and bia hơi.
The space is small and the outside seats go fast. If a group rolls in and you’re sitting solo at a prime table, the seating politics can get awkward (one reviewer got bumped inside, which is not great). Come early or be prepared to be flexible.
