The location is the main selling point: about 100 metres to Cua Dai beach, with a free shuttle running to An Bang three times a day if you want the livelier stretch of sand. Old Town is 10 minutes by taxi, which keeps you close enough without being in the thick of it.
Rooms are spacious and well-maintained by most accounts, though side-facing rooms can catch noise from the neighbourhood at night. Some wear is showing in older rooms – cracked bathtubs have come up more than once – so requesting a recently renovated room when you book is worth doing.
