Hong Phuc 2
Description
Hong Phuc 2 does something most restaurants in Hoi An don’t bother with: it serves both solid Vietnamese food and wood-fired pizza, and pulls off both convincingly. The fish dishes are the move for your first visit, though the thin-crust pizza holds its own if you’re craving something different mid-trip.
The real draw is the upstairs seating overlooking the canal. At night, with the lantern reflections on the water, it’s one of the better views you’ll find without having to fight tourists for a table at the usual spots.
Drinks are aggressively priced – a litre of cocktails runs around 149k VND, which drops further during happy hour. That’s not a typo. Come thirsty.
