Description

This market stall got the Anthony Bourdain stamp of approval, and the cao lau here is the reason. The noodles are made fresh in front of you, the pork is properly tender, and at 30,000 VND a bowl you’re not exactly gambling much on a bad meal.

It’s a tight operation run by two women who clearly know what they’re doing. Stick to the noodle dishes – cao lau and mi quang are the moves here, not the white rose (portions skew small and opinions are divided).

This is a breakfast and early evening spot. The German reviewer clocked something real: come before 7pm and you’ll dodge the worst of the crowds.
