Bo Ny restaurants
Description
Bo Ny sits right across from the Ba Mu Temple gate with a shaded terrace looking out over the lotus pool – which makes it one of the better spots to actually sit and eat in the old town without feeling like you’re in a tourist trap. The menu is short, which is usually a good sign, and the kitchen clearly knows what it’s doing with Hoi An classics.
The cao lau here gets mentioned by almost everyone who eats it, and more than a few people came back a second time specifically for it. White rose dumplings and fried wontons also show up repeatedly as things worth ordering. Prices are low even by Hoi An standards – two people can eat well and leave having spent very little.
This is a family-run place, cash only, with outdoor seating only. It can get noisy from the street but the temple view offsets that considerably.
